No. While we support the academic study of the art, culture, architecture and heritage of the Islamic world, we are equally committed to supporting projects in the field and have a long history of supporting building and object conservation projects, training of conservators, exhibitions, archaeological digs, and other sorts of projects led by professionals with a wide range of specialisms. We are equally interested in projects that engage with the general public,  and that involve local communities in safeguarding and understanding their heritage. However, all of the work we support needs to be of an excellent standard matching the aims and ambitions of The Trust.
